Music: Crescenta Academy offers private, one-on-one lessons on that range from 15 to 60 minutes per session, depending on your child’s age and skill. There is instruction available for a wide variety of instruments, ranging from string instruments like the piano, violin, viola, and cello to wind instruments like the saxophone, trumpet, flute, and oboe! Their core curriculum includes fundamentals like note and rhythm reading skills, ear training, technique, improvisation, and musical feel, help with learning new songs, whether it’s a solo, or part of an ensemble, and more. On top of that, students are taught by qualified and trained teachers so that your child can improve on their instrument as much as possible.

Tutoring: Crescenta Academy offers private, individual tutoring sessions for students that are in 1st-8th grade, and cover all core subjects like math, reading, writing, and science. Their small group enrichment classes focuses on rigorous daily ELA and Common Core math for elementary-level students. The academy also provides homework supervision and pick-up services from nearby La Crescenta and La Cañada elementary schools.
